Abstract

The strengthening of economic relations with Latin America and the Caribbean is a priority objective of foreign policy and an essential element to advance in the promotion of our interests and in the fulfillment of internal and external objectives. The achievements of Mexico's foreign policy towards Latin America and the Caribbean have been significant. The bilateral and multilateral economic agenda at the regional level is also increasingly broad, varied and complex. This essay aims to make an evaluation of economic relations with Latin America and the Caribbean based on an analysis of international economic policy and Mexico's foreign policy.
