Abstract

The article emphasizes how Mexico has worked with Central American and Caribbean countries to face challenges in areas such as climate change, natural disasters, insecurity, drug trafficking and migration. It also offers an overview of the principal challenges in the area and presents an analysis to explain the actions of the Mexican foreign policy to that region.
