The Special General Assembly on Inter-American Cooperation for Development

Abstract
There have been several attempts to readjust the structure of the Organization of American States so that it responds to the expectations that gave rise to it. However, the absence of a true and determined political will postponed that objective. The most representative example of this is the postponement for almost twenty years of the Special General Assembly on Inter-American Cooperation for Development, which was finally held in February 1994.
