Abstract

During the years of the Cold War, Africa found itself trapped in a political-ideological confrontation that it had not sought, but from which it was impossible to escape. Now, after that period, the African continent faces the great challenge of rethinking its development strategies. These aspects and the current state of Mexico's bilateral relations with African countries constitute the topics discussed in this essay.
