Relations between Mexico and Guatemala

What idea do most Mexicans have about Guatemala and what does the relationship with our neighbor to the south mean for the country? I would dare to say that despite being a country so close geographically and culturally to Mexico, sometimes it goes unnoticed or misunderstood by many. The relationship between neighbors is usually complex and difficult. The case between Mexico and Guatemala has not been the exception.
