Abstract

There is no more complex or more modern relationship than the one that now exists between the United States and Mexico. It is the blueprint for a global future that is only beginning to be understood. Therefore, I wish to refer to a profound and positive change. There are many reasons for the change, most of them have global implications. However, there is a special factor: the new political awakening of the Hispanic community in the United States, currently more than 22 million people. The corresponding growth in the political influence of this group is no less relevant, given that the Hispanic community in the United States has begun to enter the political arena with determination, and is now demanding that greater and more careful attention be given to Mexico and Latin America.
