Abstract

Latin America and the Caribbean face a complex geoeconomic and geopolitical transition process revolving around the changes in the international context, the reconfiguration of the regional political map, and the exhaustion of the regional integration efforts of the preceding decade. This article addresses the different aspects of the ongoing global transformation, as well as its impact in Latin America and the Caribbean, in order to suggest some key points for comprehending the future of the region.
