Thirty Years of Mexico in the OECD: Three Decades of Transformation
Main Article Content
Abstract
In this article, the authors outline the transformations experienced by Mexico and the OECD over the last thirty years of cooperation. On the one hand, the OECD has come to play a key role in shaping Mexico’s public policies, providing a discussion forum for the exchange of experiences with more developed economies. On the other hand, Mexico has been an essential part of the most important changes in the organization, most notably the different cycles of expansion, the adoption of new development paradigms, and its adaptation to changes in the international sphere.
