The Peruvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs: From Digitization to Modernization

Facing an internal crisis with international implications (Bagua, 2009), the Peruvian Ministry of Foreingn Affairs launched a digitization project which ended up with a public and digital diplomacy strategy. Its results went far beyond the digital presence through web pages and social networks and had great importance in key and practical decisions on Peruvian foreign policy such as the bilateral relation with Chile at a time when it faced a case before the International Court of Justice.
