The Right to Consular Access and the Defense of Mexicans Citizens Facing Criminal Procedures in the United States

This article explains the challenge for the Mexican consular representations to achieve that the courts in the US provide the integration of the right to consular access with protecting human rights rules, which already exist in the US Constitution. It means that our consulates have to provide effective protection to Mexican Citizens’ human rights, while facing criminal procedures in the US.
