Death Penalty in Harris, a Glance through the Glass of the University of Houston

For more than 25 years the Master in Laws Degree from the University of Houston has molded the legal experts of the Mexican Foreign Service. In the following lines, I bring some considerations on the added value of the former regarding the field of consular protection for death penalty cases in Harris County. To this end, I provide a paramount of the death penalty in Harris, then I address some legal issues of the Avena Judgment and I close relating all the above mentioned with the current trend in which our death penalty cases are managed by the Consulate General of Mexico in Houston.
