Abstract

In the context of the debates on the Post-2015 Development Agenda, other processes will shape the future of the new global agenda. This will require active involvement of, local, national, and subnational governments and the civil society, as well as international cooperation actors. This article discusses how the “right to the city” as a public good and selfrealization environment for human beings, revives the debate on “human rights” and places the territorial dimension at the heart of the global priorities.
