Mexico as an Actor with Global Responsibility: A Renewed Mexican Policy of International Cooperation

This article describes the role that the Mexican cooperation for international development plays as a privileged tool of a more ambitious and responsible foreign policy promoted by the administration of president Enrique Peña Nieto. It also describes how the Mexican cooperation is embedded in the new architecture of international cooperation for development, and which challenges the Mexican Agency of Cooperation for International Development faces in this context.
