Abstract
This article summarizes findings of an investigation made at the Historic Diplomatic Archives Department in order to identify professional achievements of Octavio Paz when he was on charge of the General Direction of International Organisms at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as well as Mexican representative to International Organizations in Geneva, since 1953 to 1958.
