Social Capital and Participation among Mexican Migrants: The South Florida Case

This article presents an overview of the Mexican migration to South Florida: its demographic, labor, educational and legal situation. Based on these and other factors, seeks to explain the levels of social capital and participation among Mexican migrants and its implications in terms of opportunities and adaptation to the American society.
