The Law of the Sea: A History of Success and a Field of Opportunity for the Mexican Diplomacy.

This article assesses the main contributions that Mexico has made to the creation and development of the Law of the Sea. It analyses the collaboration that the Mexican diplomacy has had with the International Seabed Authority, a body established by the United Nations Convention of the Law of the Sea of 10 December 1982. The article concludes with some recommendations on how to increase the collaboration with the International Seabed Authority in the legal, political and scientific fields.
