Mexico and Inclusive Participation in Favor of Global Governance

Abstract
The Post-2015 Development Agenda promoted by the un is the most significant global governance exercise to promote renewed human welfare standards. Mexico, through its government, made public its support for this Agenda, thus undertaking various activities intended to contribute to its definition, with the support of different social actors. The aim of this article is to review the Mexican role around the setting of this Agenda, as well as the most significant contributions in this regard. The text argues that the key assumption of the Mexican position in relation to the Agenda is what here is referred to as participatory inclusion; provision related to the dynamics of global governance, consisting in the participation of both Mexican and Latin American civil society in the discussions on how to shape the content of the Post-2015 Agenda.
