Mexican Diplomacy and Spanish Exile

Abstract
The fall of the Spanish Republic due to the insurrection of a group of soldiers led by Francisco Franco triggered a bloody civil war and led to the international isolation of the legitimately constituted regime. The signs of recognition for the support that Mexico gave to the defense of the Spanish Republic were expressed in numerous publications, and notably in posters of notable design and craftsmanship. We present here a sample, from several photographic archives.
