The Positioning of Consular Diplomacy as a Strategic Axis of Mexican Foreign Policy

Mexican consular diplomacy is also exploring new areas of action with the aim of establishing itself as a strategic tool of Mexican foreign policy. This is the case of the promotion of economic, tourist, commercial, educational, scientific and technological interests, among others, of the country. The Mexican consulates carry out activities, in many parts of the world, with an emphasis on the United States, that are as broad or more dynamic than many of the embassies.
