Mujeres, liderazgo y construcción de la paz

In the framework of its feminist foreign policy and in matters of gender equality, peace and security, this article addresses the commitments of the Government of Mexico. The new nation project aims to ensure the full participation of women in solving their problems, such as living in safe and peaceful environments, a priority objective of Proigualdad 2020-2024. The aim is to increase the representation of women at decision-making levels, to prevent, manage and solve conflicts. For this reason, Inmujeres collaborated in the preparation of the first National Plan of Action. Within the framework of Pro-equality and PNA-1325, the Women Peacemakers (Mucpaz) strategy is underway.
