Reflections on the Mexican Foreign Service

Juan José Bremer offers a series of reflections on the Mexican Foreign Service. Having held four of the most important embassies in Mexico in the last 30 years, Bremer's career has distinguished itself as that of a privileged observer of the change of era that began with perestroika in the Soviet Union and ended with the fall of the Berlin Wall. Also noteworthy is his perspective on cultural diplomacy, to which he contributed assiduously.
