Decisive Passages of Diplomacy: The Negotiations for the Accession of the Countries to Additional Protocol I of the Treaty of Tlatelolco

The Revista Mexicana de Política Exterior presents, starting with this issue, the section "Decisive Passages of Diplomacy", whose purpose is to highlight, in the form of an interview, the core point of a particular event, based on the reflections and experiences of renowned diplomats, both Mexican and foreign, around decisive or culminating moments of diplomacy, which have marked milestones within the complex and fascinating international task. This section of interviews begins with the interview with Ambassador Héctor Gros Espiell, former Secretary General of OPANAL, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the Treaty of Tlatelolco. Interview conducted by Ambassador Miguel Marín Bosch. It took place, on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the adoption and opening for signature of the Treaty of Tlatelolco, at the Matías Romero Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on February 15, 2007.
