The New Europe and its Development Cooperation Policy with Latin America and the Caribbean

The objectives of economic cooperation and aid to the development of the New Europe are analyzed. The strategy that links economic cooperation to foreign trade can have a positive impact for our region due to the importance that trade has acquired in economic growth; this on the condition that the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean are supported so that they achieve a better insertion in the international economy.
