The Revista Mexicana de Política Exterior (RMPE) is a quarterly publication of the Matías Romero Institute (IMR) of the Ministry of Foreign Relations (SRE). Since its appearance in 1983, it has contributed to the IMR's task of disseminating Mexican foreign policy and international relations issues.

The RMPE is an academic journal that publishes specialized texts by officials of the Foreign Ministry and members of the Mexican Foreign Service, as well as academics from other national and international institutions.

As a means of information and reference, the RMPE is directed both to the official of the Foreign Ministry and to the reader specialized or interested in the international work of Mexico.

No. 129 (2024): Regulatory Diplomacy in Latin America and the Caribbean

To properly understand the relevance and impact of health regulation, it is necessary to study the different efforts that have been carried out in distinct latitudes, just like the multilateral cooperation in the subject. This is how it emerges the idea of this issue of the Revista Mexicana de Política Exterior, which is the result of a fruitful collaboration between COFEPRIS and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, through the Matías Romero Institute. Its aim is to publicize different aspects of the health regulation in Mexico and Latin America to, from a humanistic perspective, build relations, extend the national interest in public health, encourage regional cooperation and promote science and innovation between the countries of the region.
