The Dialogue with Civil Society: The Challenge of Articulation

The negotiation on the Development Agenda Post-2015 has created an opportunity for joint construction with civil society organizations at national and international levels. This article addresses the mechanisms of participation that have been promoted by the United Nations and the Government of Mexico, as well as some processes of articulation of the organizations themselves. Similarly, it highlights both the challenges presented by the participation of civil society, and some areas in which the organizations could focus their contributions in this time of negotiation and after defining the Agenda.
