Abstract
Speech by Ambassador Sergio González Gálvez, delivered at the seminar for the 41st anniversary of the Treaty of Tlatelolco, in whose initiative the ambassador himself was involved. In his intervention, González Gálvez pays tribute to Mexican diplomats committed to the fight against disarmament, such as Alfonso García Robles. Likewise, he highlights the importance of promoting nuclear-weapon-free zones and stresses the need to support OPANAL, strengthen the non-proliferation system and force the nuclear powers to submit to it.
