Abstract
In the section "Passages of Mexican diplomacy", the memorable moments of Mexican diplomatic history, fundamental antecedents of Mexico's foreign policy, are discussed. The study of history is not only enriched but necessary to understand our present and to be able to design the adequate strategy of an efficient foreign policy that matches the principles that constitute it, with the current interests that the international context and our internal development require.
